Reviews and Ratings
I was truly amazed by the breathtaking views from the room, facing the lush rainforest and all the way to the ocean. The hotel offers a unique experience with rooms in separate buildings, but the walk uphill is so worth it for the stunning scenery. The service was outstanding overall, though a few staff members seemed new. The location was ideal for exploring Monteverde's beauty, and the dining experience, while not perfect, offered a glimpse into local breakfast options. The facilities were great for a memorable stay.
My stay at the hotel was truly incredible. The rooms were not only very nice but also had its own indoor jacuzzi with a forest view, allowing me to watch wildlife right from my chalet. The view was stunning, and the linens were top-notch. The service was impeccable, with a 5-star experience all around, especially in the restaurant where they superbly handled my husband's food allergy. The location was ideal for exploring the Monteverde cloud forest, and dining was always a delight with fresh menu options and homemade microbrews. The facilities were fantastic, offering everything I needed for a perfect stay.
My stay at the hotel was simply delightful. The room with a spa bath was a luxurious touch, and the cleanliness was impeccable. While the lack of A/C in the afternoon made it a bit too warm, the stunning view of the Valley made up for it. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to organize private tours in the Monteverde Cloud Forest reserve for us. The location, perched in the hills with breathtaking views of Monteverde, was a true gem. The dining experience was a real treat, exceeding expectations with exceptional quality. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing stay with some minor inconveniences to note.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room with a cozy balcony and comfy king bed offered a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean. The fantastic picture windows on 2 walls made the room feel extra special. Everything was clean and nicely equipped, making it a truly comfortable stay. However, it would have been even better if the room had coffee service to avoid the inconvenience of carrying it upstairs. Overall, a fantastic experience!
I was on the top floor of the main building in a Forest Superior room, a fabulous experience with a deck and a breathtaking view of the cloud forest. The separate chalet offered a forest view, where I could watch wildlife like parakeets, agoutis, coatis, and armadillos right outside my window. The hotel truly immersed me in nature.
Staying in the chalet across from the main building with a forest view allowed us to enjoy the comfortable rooms where we could watch wildlife like parakeets and armadillos. The service was friendly and attentive, and the location was peaceful with fantastic views of Monteverde's valleys. The dining experience was slightly limited, but the presence of Will pointing out birds added a unique touch.
The hotel feels very secluded and private, right under the restaurant, giving the sensation of an upscale cabin. The latest Nicoya Suites provide a luxurious experience, whether choosing the Sunset or Sunrise Rooms, making the stay exceptional.
